Our wedding in Cortona was a fantastic and memorable day for us both and Simone played a major part in the success of the day. Simone is not only a great photographer but a lovely person who made us feel at ease all through the day. We explained what we were looking to get from our photographs and he captured the essence and mood of our day completely. His eye for detail, ability to see a great photograph that us mortals cannot and his friendly manner made the whole experience not only enjoyable but a great success. The standard of service was also great, our photographs were supplied to us before the day was even over.
The wedding planner we used told us why he recommends Simone and now we know too !!! We cannot stop looking at our photographs and they were that good we have a major difficulty in choosing the best to go in our album.
We cannot thank Simone enough and we will hope to keep in touch as he has left a lasting mark on our day.

I am a serious amateur photographer myself, and I was insistent that my wedding photos be professional, inventive, fun and unique. Simone was all that and more, and I was so impressed with him and the photos he took of us! He took us all over Cortona, stopping in art galleries, a produce store, a gelateria, and a museum in order to take pictures. He put us both at ease and we all relaxed and had fun together, and it shows in the pictures. He has a great eye for framing shots, and he’s always looking for the perfect location. Simone was truly wonderful, and I could not possibly have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! Thank you, Simone!

These are some of our photos that Simone took in June ‘10. There are actually better ones than these ones, too, we reckon!
What we did was organise an ‘elopement’ wedding overseas (in Italy), just the two of us. We had a look through various wedding companies that provide this service in Tuscany and in the north.
The thing that sealed our choice before we went was the really really cool photos that company had of previous weddings they held. They were the sort of photos that were stylish, not pompus. They were the sorts of photos that were about the couple on the day, rather than the table arrangemets. We could see couples smiling at each other and walking along beautiful old alleyways holding hands and stuff. It was want we wanted as a memory.
As it turned out, it was Simone that had taken those photos, and he took ours. He is a bright and friendly guy. He was forever ducking into alleyways and shops, looking for a good backdrop with the correct light and stuff. We had a lot of fun on the shoot, he is so polite to people and he really looks like he enjoys what he does.
People back home have been unanimous, no one has seen such beautiful wedding photos. People actually like looking at them, not just out of politeness!
We got lucky.
If you want really good photos, you’ve GOT to ask for Simone to do them.

The photos where beautiful and Simone made it a relaxing and fun event. The photos take in how lovely Cortona is and some of the settings picked where a good mixture of fun and traditional. He was even on hand when my zip got stuck on my dress and I needed calming down before the wedding.

From our first email contact I knew we made an excellent choice with Simone. Looking at previous work he had created made me so excited at the prospect of having an amazing dvd of our day.
From the moment Simone arrived at the villa, he was supremely professional and we didnt even notice that he filming, it was so discreet and very well directed. Simone kept everything very natural and non-posed, just filming what caught his eye and looking back at the DVD he absolutely captured the essence of the day.
We would highly recommend Simone as he is at all times professional and pleasant, and most of all made us feel completely at ease all day. We have watched our DVD several times since the wedding and it is such a wonderful thing to have all those amazing moments caught on tape!
